Our Experience
Richard Sides has over 25 years of major market
experience, promoting fine wines in the restaurant, club and beverage sales
industry. Prior to establishing Multicarte, his experience included over eleven
years involvement in the management, marketing and selling of fine wines for
such companies as Mirassou Vineyards, The Estates
Group of Sebastiani Vineyards, and Premiere Wine
Merchants.
Dean Wilson
began his career in the beverage industry with the Julius Schepps
Distributing Co. in North Texas in 1976,
ultimately directing their on-premise division. In 1979, he joined E & J
Gallo Winery as the North Texas Field Marketing Manager. His responsibilities
included programming and distributor management for seven distributors in North Texas. He joined Block Distributing Co. in 1981 as
General Manager On-Premise Wine & Spirits Division. During his ten years
with Block, he was directly responsible for increases of over 700% in this
segment of the Company’s sales.
Originally from Long Island, NY, Richard Maiewski has
resided in Texas
for over 25 years. He completed 3 years of college at the University of
Maryland/Europe focusing on Marketing and Business management, while he studied
and explored many European wine regions and their cuisine. While completing
his studies at the University
of San Antonio, he gained
Food & Beverage experience including 2 years with the Four Seasons Hotel.
It was at that time, he decided that the wine business would be his chosen
career. During 10 years at Block Distributing Company, he was an integral
part in increasing sales and developing their fine wine portfolio and overall
base of distribution. In 2007, Richard joined Multicarte as the Texas
Sales Manager.
